2. Description of Services

MedRoam Africa provides mobile clinic healthcare services, telemedicine consultations, pharmacy services, laboratory testing, and related healthcare services to communities in Ghana and across Africa. Our Services include:

  • Mobile clinic visits and on-site healthcare
  • Virtual consultations with licensed healthcare providers
  • Prescription management and pharmacy services
  • Laboratory testing and diagnostic services
  • Electronic health records management
  • Health education resources

3. User Registration and Accounts

To access certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Medical Disclaimer

Important: Our Services are not intended to replace emergency medical care. In case of a medical emergency, please contact emergency services immediately or visit your nearest hospital.

The information provided through our Services is for general informational purposes and should not be considered as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of qualified healthcare providers with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

5. Telemedicine Services

By using our telemedicine services, you acknowledge that:

  • Virtual consultations have limitations compared to in-person examinations
  • Healthcare providers may determine that telemedicine is not appropriate for your condition
  • You may be referred to in-person care when necessary
  • Technical issues may interrupt your consultation

6. Payment and Billing

You agree to pay all fees associated with the Services you use. Payment terms include:

  • Fees are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged
  • We accept Mobile Money, bank cards, and cash at clinic locations
  • Refunds are processed according to our refund policy
  • Insurance claims are processed where applicable

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Share false or misleading health information
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on our platform are owned by MedRoam Africa or our licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedRoam Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ghana.
